The guild was condemned as a terrorist organization. A chivalric order of scientists was formed, hunting it down.
One after another, the sorcerers were captured, executed. Gradually, the guild lost its power. Eventually, they declared disbandment.
The remaining sorcerers were scattered across the world, marked as dangerous, forced to live as wanted criminals.
